So this week we had a very busy week. Lots of lessons, lots of walking, and as always, lots of warm sun!!
Elder Balaich, the Assistant to the President, came and helped in our area. He has already passed through this are before so he knew a lot of investigators and such. We were having trouble with people in church these past few weeks.
We were walking in the street and a man stopped us. He started to talk in "portuguese" but we found out he was American. Where was he from? CHICAGO!!! He lived in Wrigley field. We talked in English. He was baptized 2 years ago and is living here in Natal. Really cool to see another Chicagoan.
We hope to baptize this week. We had district meeting about "spirit of urgency". We are living in the last days, and like Joseph Smith said, there is nothing more important than to preach the gospel! More work, more lessons, more spirit, more baptisms. There are people waiting to receive the restored gospel.
Scripture of the Week: Alma 4:4-5 Thousands of people were baptized. The message of the gospel hasn´t changed just the messengers.
