MTC (MISSIONARY TRAINING CENTER)
The MTC, or Missionary Training Center, is a college-like campus where missionaries are trained to learn the language (in my case Portuguese) and learn how to teach the gospel in an effective manner. There are 17 MTCs around the world, Provo Utah being the biggest. I was originally assigned in the Sao Paulo MTC; however, my visa did not come in time so I was reassigned to Provo.
