So this past week were transfers. I got a new companion, Elder Bento! He is from São Paulo and really really cool. He has little time in the mission--6 months, but I am learning so much from him! He is really calm and chill, doesn´t talk much. yeah and we live alone here in Patos, which is different than last transfer.
Here there is only one companionship. Means more work for us!
This Sunday we should have had a baptism but she had to go to the hospital. We prepared everything--the baptismal font, music, the reunion, but it just didn't happen.
We had an investigator that we met at church. He had visited church and has been reading the Book of Mormon. He has a testimony and everything, and he wanted to be baptized right then and there......a miracle. But he lives 60 kil away so it's going to be hard to teach him! He is going to be baptized at the end of this month when he visits again!
Spiritual thought: How is your reading of the Book of Mormon. It is the key stone to your testimony? This investigator said "Every time I read the Book of Mormon, I feel happy and at peace, even when I am sad. I can´t stop reading this book" The new mutual theme for this year is 2 Nephi 31:20--feast upon the words of Christ, it brings us hope and love to God and to men!
Scripture of the Week: Alma 34:15-17 How much faith do we need to be saved? Faith enough for us to repent or change. Faith unto repentance, that is the faith we need!
