Ola!!
Another great week in Brazil!!! Nothing but hot and sunny--ya know the usual!!
This week I had Subway--twice! Yeah I know that´s crazy!! It reminded me of home and it even tasted like home! Oh the memories....but man it is freaking expensive!! So sorry mom and dad, but I just have to get a taste of home--literally! A member also made homemade cookies, tacos, and pizza. That was seriously amazing!! Lots of Americans think that Brazil has tacos, burritos, etc. No. They do not. Those are from Mexico. Brazil is not Mexico haha they don´t know what a tortilla is. And we also speak Portuguese not Spanish hahaha just in case you were wondering.
Had another baptism this week!! She is a sister of a girl that I baptized last month. The mom served a mission but is inactive so it is nice to have lessons with her and her daughter. We are trying to complete families and help those who are in need!
Nothing too exciting happened just more teaching and sun! So happy to be apart of the Lord´s work! It is definitely hard at points but challenges are what makes you who you are. It shows you what you can improve on and how to rely on the Lord more! I am so thankful for the challenges I face because I know I will be a better person because of them!
Scripture of the week: Alma 56:47-48 They were taught well from the their mothers and used their council!
Mothers are important and I am so thankful for the mother I have and the things she taught me! Love you mom! And Happy Mother´s Day!
Love,
Hayden
Fun Fact: Here in Mossoró there are more motorcycles than cars. It is crazy to see how many people have and how crazy they drive them, especially in downtown Mossoró!
