I know I have been really lame these past few weeks with my weekly emails. I am sorry! I know I have done a lot of things buts it's just kinda to the point where it's "normal" and "routinely."
This week we had 2 baptisms! 2 young men baptized. They are so great. One was a contact that we did on the street. We taught him and his mom. Well his mom is a lady who takes care of him because his parents passed away years ago.
The other is another boy 14 years old who went to church a few weeks ago with his friend. He wanted to be baptized as well. We tried teaching his mom and her boyfriend but they didn´t seem interested.
Last p-day after email we went to visit some of the dunes near us. Our area actually has dunes in them so technically we didn´t leave our area! haha -- the cool thing in Natal is the dunes. Other big/famous cities here in the northeast Brazil have beaches but not dunes! Which makes Natal such a diverse place to travel. So I took some pics!
Also, everyone here is watching the Olympics, which also makes it hard to teach. It's funny how important soccer/sports here is to these people. BUT I heard that Michael Phelps won another gold medal! WOOOOO
Scripture of the Week: Helaman 15:3 The Lord gives ust trials because He loves us!
Fun Fact: So the new Pokeman Go came out this week in Brazil. It's funny watching some people catch pokemon in the streets. We actually saw some boys in the church parking lot catching some. But this new game actually is annoying because some people want to go catch pokeman and not church haha
