Boa tarde!
This week were transfers! And I got transfered from Patos to Natal!!! I am serving in the Brazil Natal Mission and after 1 year and 3 months I have finally stepped in Natal!
My companion: Elder Rímaco. He is brazillain from Santa Catarina, a state on the southern end of Brazil. Really cool and relaxed. I am also training him, well finishing his training. He has 6 weeks in the field so....that´s always fun hahaha so excited to work with him. He is my second son!
Its really really different. The first thing is that its cold. Well kinda. Since we literally live a few min from the beach, its always windy! Which means when we sweat, it dries, making it cold! Really weird to feel cold. Don´t know if I like it.
Secondly, its more a city-ish feel. I have only been in areas pretty rural and small. I still haven´t seen a donkey and wagon so I am kinda feeling out of place.
I am living with another American finally! woo! We sometimes speak english but our tongue starts to hurt and it sounds weird so we don´t. But we talk about the food we miss and everything. He is from Mesa, AZ. His name is Hayden Phillips. Yeah weird to see another Hayden.
Sunday we had a baptism, Gabriel. Awesome kid. There is also another family we are going to marry. They are taking out their documents to get married. Like I said, it's hard to find people who are married legally....annoying because we want to baptism families!
Ward is great. Area is great. Loving the change and the cold!
Alma: 26:22 These Book of Mormon missionaries used their faith and repentance to carry thousands to repentance.
Love
Hayden
