Bom Dia!!!
On Saturday we helped a family move. Just me and my companion. Yep. It was hot and there were a lot of boxes!! But it is good to do service projects!!
We had a zone meeting this week in Caicó! It was fun to see all my buddies. And we got more copies of the Book of Mormon. We ran out. Its kinda hard to have a testimony of the Restoration without the keystone of our religion. But we got that squared away! haha
On Sunday I conducted the music in sacrament meeting and all nbd. The talks were being given and the ward secretary "hey, the bishop sent me a message (he wasn´t there) and he wants you to give a 15 min talk on missionary work. you have 10 min to prepare. Thanks" ummmm Hayden doesn´t do well under pressure at all. Then you add 100 people and the Portuguese language? Thanks but no thanks. Long story short I gave a talk haha -- it was not the best talk but I hope I got the message accross: every member a missionary.
What is your responsablitiy as a member? What was the conventant you made with Heavenly Father when you were baptized? "...ye shall follow the Son, with full purpose of heart...witnesing unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ, by baptism..." (2 Nephi 31:13) "Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfot those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as a witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places..." (Mosias 18:9)
To me that sounds like being a missionary. A missionary is a testimony--a light of truth in the dark world. When we were baptized we took upon the name of Chist! Be his disciple in all times and all things and in all places.
I love this gospel and I love this work! "After all that has been said, the greatest and most important duty is to preach the Gospel" - Joseph Smith
Scripture of the Week: Mosiah 28:3 Are you converted like the sons of Mosiah?!
Love
Hayden
